Terms and Conditions:

  1. Promotion Period: The promotion starts on 17 March, 2015 at 00:00:00 PST and ends 7 April, 2015 at 23:59:59 PST.
  2. The Promotion: The buyer of each Trade Assurance order commenced during the Promotion Period will receive an Inspection Coupon. Only the first 1,000 Alibaba.com members to complete the initial payment for such order before 30 April, 2015 at 23:59:59 PST will have the Inspection Coupon activated for a Free Inspection. ( How to make a payment )
  3. Eligibility: To obtain the Free Inspection, you must be a registered member of Alibaba.com and have completed the initial payment for the Trade Assurance order placed the Promotion Period.
  4. Promoter: Alibaba.com Singapore E-Commerce Private Limited, a company incorporated in Singapore with a registered office address at 10 Collyer Quay # 10-01, Ocean Financial Centre, Singapore 049315 (the " Promoter ").
  5. General Rules:
    • Each Alibaba.com member may receive one (1) Inspection Coupon only.
    • Inspection Coupons will be activated for a Free Inspection only for the first 1,000 buyers to complete initial payment for the Trade Assurance order. Initial payment must be completed before 30 April, 2015 at 23:59:59 PST.
    • Inspection Coupons not activated will become invalid automatically.
    • Winners of the Free Inspection will receive a message in “My Inspection” with details of the Free Inspection Coupon (including Inspection code and applicable Inspectors)
  6. Free Inspection:
    • Free Inspection is applicable to Alibaba.com Trade Assurance orders prior to shipment only. It is not applicable to inspections relating to Alibaba.com Trade Assurance disputes.
    • To redeem your Free Inspection, contact an applicable Inspector via the Inspection Platform at Alibaba.com. Submit an inspection order and use the coupon when you reach the payment page.
    • Inspections are provided by the following three Inspectors only:
      • Bureau Veritas Consumer Products Services Shanghai Co.,Ltd.
      • SGS-CSTC Standards Technical Services Co., Ltd
      • TUV Rheinland (Shanghai) Co., Ltd.
    • The Inspection Coupon is valid between 17 March and 31 May 2015 (both dates inclusive) towards inspection services of one man-day or less provided by an applicable Inspector. If the inspection requires more than one man-day, Inspectors have the right to request additional inspection and/or accommodation fees. d)
    • Inspection orders must be placed at least 2 business days prior to the date of required inspection.
    • Each coupon can only be used once.
    • Inspection services are provided in mainland China only, excluding the following regions: Inner Mongolia, Qinghai, Gansu, Tibet and Xinjiang Province.
  7. In the event that the Promotion is ceased or suspended by the relevant authorities or due to any serious network attack(s) or system fault, the Promotion may be terminated prematurely. Such a situation will be classified as a force majeure event and the Organizer shall not be liable for any damages or claims that arise out of the event.
  8. Disputes: You acknowledge and agree that the Promoter or any of its affiliates shall not be responsible, and shall have no liability to it or anyone else for any dispute or claim that arises out of the participant's participation in this promotion.
  9. General: By participating in this promotion, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. The Promoter is not responsible for any late, lost, delayed, incomplete, illegible, misdirected or undeliverable entries, responses, or other correspondence, whether by e-mail or otherwise. The Promoter reserves the right in its sole and absolute discretion to cancel, modify or suspend the Terms and Conditions of this promotion in whole or in part, without liability to you. The amended and restated Terms and Conditions shall be effective immediately upon posting on the Alibaba.com website. After posting of the amended and restated Terms and Conditions, your continued participation in this promotion shall be deemed to be your acceptance of the amended and restated Terms and Conditions. The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any participant in its sole discretion.
  10. The Promoter reserves the right in their sole and final discretion to cancel any order which has resulted from a member's deceptive, malicious, immoral, unlawful conduct, or inappropriate means to increase the number of discounts enjoyed during the Promotion Period. Examples include, but are not limited to:
    • attempting to have, or having, multiple accounts for the promotion;
    • conducting any fraudulent activity; or
    • using any kind of software, hardware or computer apparatuses to unfairly or inappropriately increase its chance of enjoying the discount.
  11. Disclaimer: TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT WILL THE PROMOTER BE LIABLE TO ANY PARTICIPANT FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL, EXEMPLARY, PUNITIVE OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES (INCLUDING LOSS OF USE, DATA, BUSINESS OR PROFITS) ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH THE PARTICIPANT'S PARTICIPATION IN THE EVENT, WHETHER SUCH LIABILITY ARISES FROM ANY CLAIM BASED UPON CONTRACT, WARRANTY, TORT (INCLUDING NEGLIGENCE), STRICT LIABILITY OR OTHERWISE, AND WHETHER OR NOT SPONSOR HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH LOSS OR DAMAGE.
  12. Governing Law: You agree that this promotion is governed, interpreted and enforced by the laws of Hong Kong, without regard to its conflict of laws principles. Any and all legal actions, claims or proceedings arising out of, or in connection with this promotion must be brought in a court of competent jurisdiction in Hong Kong. The participant and all persons making claim through or on account of the participant, hereby agrees to and irrevocably consents to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Hong Kong.
